Highly respected wheel house Kei Racing have released a superbly engineered range of solutions for enthusiasts looking to either increase the track, or change the PCD of their car’s wheels, with an extensive new range of spacers and adapters offering 4 and 5 stud fitments and spacer widths ranging from 3mm to 25mm per side.

All of these new items are presented in a flawless black anodised finish and CNC machined from a solid aluminium billet, throughout the differing widths a varied combination of 5/100, 5/112, 4/100, 4/108, 5/108 and 5/100 hub centring variants can be ordered, each one locating perfectly on the hub to eliminate wheel wobble and replicate top OEM levels of engineering integrity.

Correctly fitted wheels spacers not only add a touch of aggression to the stance of any car, but they also help to improve handling characteristics, enhancing turn-in and reducing tendency to roll.

The thinner 3,5 and 7mm versions are simple shims which use either the original studs/bolts or come complete with the required longer items. To ensure safety at high speeds, the thicker versions are either bolt on or bolt through designs to ensure that all lateral loads are adequately dispersed through the axle.

The PCD converters allow a range of differing 4 to 4, 5 to 5 and even 4 to 5 stud conversions. Over-engineered to the same high-standards, these are an essential upgrade when changing to wheels from another vehicle.

Priced at £155 including VAT and delivery for a set of four, Kei Racing adapters and spacers provide a safe and stylish way to enhance your car, for a very decent price. Wheel adapters start from £89.99 including VAT per pair. Spacers kits start from £59.99 including VAT.

For more information on the Kei spacer please visit Perform Wheels or call the team on 01530 517920, whilst for all of your wheel needs, be sure to check out our very own comprehensive collection of alloy wheels, or get in touch with our team today on 01623 412399.

Leading wheel and accessory manufacturer Performance Wheels has added another three hot colours to its Kei Racing Tuner Nut and Bolt range. Hot from the forge comes these latest colours of Magenta, Pink and Gunmetal. The fitment list is simply massive, covering almost all core tuner and scene cars, such as VAG, Renault, BMW, Porsche and Mercedes, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Honda and Nissan to name but a few.

The spec of the new Kei Racing nuts and bolts range reads like a metallurgist’s wish-list. The high-grade Chrome Vanadium alloy-steel construction has been heat-treated to exceed DIN 10.9, before each bolt is triple nickel plated, then chromed, then electro-deposition coated in the appropriate colour!! Needless to say, the finish has been designed to be pretty durable, even in the harsh UK climate.

The upshot of these cutting-edge manufacturing techniques are wheel fixings that are significantly stronger than their conventional steel counterparts, yet carry no weight penalty. Essential for track-day and race cars, and highly desirable on any cherished road car, the bolts use a positive location ‘puzzle’ key, which is included with each set.

M12/1.5 and M14/1.5 pitch threads are available in all of the new finishes. Each pack of 16 bolts is priced at £26.00 and a pack of 16 nuts is £22.00 including VAT.

Leading wheel designer Kei Racing has released a range of precision manufactured lightweight wheel nuts to fit any aftermarket and most OEM wheels.

Both traditional socket-driven hexagonal nuts and tool-driven locking nuts are available in a wide range of colours. Pretty they may be, but don’t make the mistake of confusing them with the current raft of ‘me-too’ designs on the market. The Kei Racing range has the technical credentials to back up its good looks.

Thanks to T-6 heat treatment and unique cold-forged construction the aircraft alloy open-ended racing nuts are 70% stronger than their steel equivalents, despite carrying only 30% of the steel mass. In fact, in independent testing, these nuts surpassed torque settings of over 270 ft/lbs, which greatly exceeds the industry standard. These are available in silver, black and red anodised finishes.

As well as reducing the recipient car’s unsprung weight – perfect for fast road and track applications, these lightweight fixings also make the ultimate finishing touch to any quality wheel and tyre set-up.

The steel locking tuner nuts are available in five different finishes; red, silver, gold, blue and classic black. Although not cold-forged like the nuts, these are still exceptionally tough, precision engineered components and come complete with a key to allow them to be removed with a standard 19mm socket.

The aircraft alloy open-ended racing nuts are priced at £59.77 including VAT for a pack of 20 and steel locking nuts are £19.97 including VAT for four. Most core tuner and motorsport fitments are available.

For more information on Kei Racing wheels, please visit www.keiracing.com

or call them in the UK on 01530 517 920.

The latest alloy wheel design from Kei Racing showcases the very latest in casting and finishing technology. Aimed squarely at the Jap and track day markets, this stunning new alloy wheel ticks all sorts of boxes!

First up is the design. A deeply concaved spoke profile gives the rim an aggressive stance, particularly when ordered in the staggered sizes available. 18 x 8” and 18 x 9” will be available, as will 19 x 8.5” and 19 x 9.5”. To begin with, the wheel will be available in a 5 x 114.3” PCD in offsets to suit cars like the Subaru Impreza, Evo, 350 and 370Z and of course, all Skylines.

The spokes ‘float’ above the inner rim, leaving an attractive visual space that accents the depth of the rim behind and also helps to aid brake cooling.

Then there are the finishes available, Either Hyperblack with a red anodized detail, as shown here – or later in the season, Kei Racing will release a matt black version with blue detailing. There will also be a matt gunmetal finish in 18” only. For the ultimate finishing touch, Kei Racing already offer matching or contrasting lightweight anodised nuts.

But best of all is the weight, or more to the point, the lack of it!. Thanks to the innovative pressure-cast technology used in the construction of the RS55, the 18 x 9” pictured weighs in at just 9.9 kilos. Perfect for reducing unsprung weight and improving road and track manners.

Despite this all-star line up of features and stunning build quality, prices will be in line with the rest of the highly competitive Kei Racing range.
