An alloy wheel is typically made from [...]]]> Most people may think an alloy wheel is just there to look good and make your motor look a lot better but there are many more positives than just looking good. Another main beneficiary of an alloy wheel is how it affects a cars performance.

An alloy wheel is typically made from either aluminium or magnesium but in quite a few cases they are made from a mixture of both substances. Because they are created from these elements and not the usual element (steel) they become much more lighter but still maintain quite a bit of their durability and also conduct heat much better.
